Past opportunities have included television appearances (CBS Mornings, Late Night with Seth Meyers); radio and podcasts (NPR's Weekend Edition, To The Best of Our Knowledge); publications (The New York Times, The Cut); and speaking engagements (Converge Lecture Series).

Readings and other author events have taken place at bookstores, libraries, festivals, conferences, and universities. Benjamin also moderates events for other writers, from Joyce Carol Oates and Emily St. John Mandel to Celeste Ng and Jodi Picoult.
